If
you're like me, you have more browser tabs open than you can track
easily. It's not such a good idea; if your session information gets
corrupted, you could lose your tabs the next time you restart your
browser. Still, lots of us do it anyway. TabsPreview is a great Chrome
extension that makes it much easier to keep track of the sites and
Webapps you've collected. Here's how to use it:
1. Install TabsPreview here.
https://chrome.google.com/
2. From any Chrome window, click the TabsPreview icon in the top right
(it looks like a blue eye underneath a black box). A new tab opens that
contains large previews of all tabs open within the same window. This
means that if you have multiple Chrome windows open, you'll need to run
TabsPreview for each one you want to check out.
3.There are several configurations; using the icons at the top right, arrange the previews in a way that feels right to you.
4.Click any preview to go directly to that tab.
5.To search through tabs for text, just click the magnifying glass icon
at the bottom left and enter your text in the search box that pops up.
Only the tabs containing your text are shown.
That's it! TabsPreview is pretty simple and straightforward, and should make life simpler for those with crowded browsers.
